Justin Amash unwittingly demonstrates Trump’s wisdom

Recent Trump foe, turncoat and Latest Democrat Conservative Crush, Justin Amash retweeted Trump’s Tweet from this morning that suggested that Cuomo’s behavior may be subject to a red flag, and made the following commentary:

I only know this bc I follow AOC for the laughs and she liked Amash’s comment.
So basically, Trump has accomplished several important things
1) He points out the problem with red flag laws by dunking on an idiot leftist (Fredo should be red flagged).
2) Points out that Amash has become such a humorless virtue signaler that he fails to appreciate exactly what Trump was trying to do, and in so doing Amash makes Trump’s point for him.
3) By liking Amash’s Tweet, AOC is now on record opposing red flag laws bc they impact a fundamental civil right to keep and bear arms without the government fricking with you.
4) AOC’s idiot minions also respond to this Tweet in positive affirmations, essentially now all in a position where they are supporting a pro-2A, NRA position in the comments.
I don’t often buy the 4D Chess Crap that people like to spin about POTUS, but seriously, hats off to our commander in chief for exposing two principleless gutless frauds in a few short characters. This was masterful.

No it is completely twisted Trump worshiping illogic on your part.
Cuomo should NOT be red flagged. If that is the line we are in deep, deep trouble.
Trump wasn't intentionally trying to discredit red flag laws (the very ones he has said he supports), he was setting the bar extremely, dangerously low on who could be caught up in this BS.

I think you are African American based on reading some of your posts.
I found some of them to actually be nuanced and reasonable.

Can you point me to the text of the proposed red flag law that Trump said he would support? All he said re red flag laws was that those laws had been proposed and that he was considering them with Congress, because he wanted to keep guns out of the hands of crazy people.
It appears he has realized the Due Process problem it creates, why his base thinks they are problematic, and located the perfect example to persuade those who are supporting them (ex. Chris Cuomo and AOC) why he realizes red flag laws are a bad idea - and at the same time, not forcing them to lose face and openly agree with him.
This was a simply brilliant maneuver. If Cuomo hadn’t been his example, he would have found another one.
Trump DGAF if Justin Amash or AOC Like him; he just finds a way to use their dislike of him in his favor. And I love him for it.

I said in here about a week ago that before Trump is through he will have the democrats resisting any kind of gun control. Nothing has happened since to change my mind

Trump has pointed out the problem with gun control, by pointing out (indirectly) what happens when the person Amash/AOC doesn’t like is doing the controlling. And the fact that you think it’s just an “immature shitpost” instead of a damning indictment of AOC’s gun control position is telling.

The alternative is that he's trolling the American public about gun control, which, honestly, would be dumber and more concerning
