If you are selling logging equipment I wouldn't worry with Reddit. Your focus should be on hunting and fishing forums or sites such as tigerdroppings. Most of the the logging company owners in Alabama are just regular old boys. I would expect most of the southeast is the same. That's where your market will be.
Again, Reddit is completely unrelated to my business. I signed up just because it is referenced on here so much.
I'm actually in the Great Lakes, and am expanding into energy infrastructure stuff (via right of way clearing). We put one post up a few weeks ago about a new thing we are importing from Finland that has not been seen here. A couple of posts on FB generated web hits well over 10 X the traffic we usually see Since we can see exactly which of these came from the FB post, it's clear where the driver is coming from.

Do most people grow out of it, or do they continue down the hole?
Liberal-Democrat-Progressives on Reddit don't soften with age, they get crazier due to the anonymity.

I own a heavy equipment dealership.
How much margin do you put on your equipment? Is it 30-40 percent?

Dealers don’t make money on new machines. Double digits is a rarity.
