In Colorado whites make up about 86% of the population.

I'm in Colorado at the moment and it seems like it's more than that

I've only seen a handful of black people in the time I've been here. And normally I wouldn't notice but when there are so few of them you tend to notice when you do see one.

I hope she has tank big enough to fit enough gas to take her fat arse to see some diversity.

Its crazy for people on this board to read because most are from the deep south but there are many and I mean many places in this country where black people dont exist pretty much.

Go to Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Oklahoma.

You will have to search to find one. Like go out of your way to find one black person.

In Houston, they have one huge pocket and then little pockets. But for the most part I only see white and hispanics.

Here is a cheap place to live that she can move to. "Diversity" took it from a population of 15,000 in 1920, to a population of 1,700 in the latest census. What was once the economic hub of Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and Western Kentucky is now a virtual ghost town.

I moved to a neat little neighborhood in Franklinton and I have to drive across town to the barbershop for my diversity. It's next to a little mom and pop grocery. The barbershop across the street has horseshoes and they have a karaoke machine with someone calling the game on it. I knew immediately I was going to fit in with the black folk in Franklinton better than the whiteys.

Not sure if you're in the Springs or not, but it is pretty close to white bread as it can get (though Idaho is more so) in a million person population.

Something I find funny here is how a lot of white folks here assume every Southerner is a racist and the south is such a racist place while they themselves have a certain racism about them that they don't even see. Some things they say even make me cringe.

Funny how people who never experience something like to judge those who have a lot of experience with it.

Northerner: “Why do you not like _____?

Southerners: “It’s not that I don’t like ______, I just prefer to not be around them because I’ve had some bad experiences with them.”

Northerners: “Well I’ve never had that experience before.”

Southerners: “Well no shite, there’s none around here.”

Fill in the blank with anything. Mosquitoes, pitbulls, alligators. People are stupid and judgmental even about things they know nothing about.

Exactly.

I am a cultural bigot. I'll admit that. And I do believe some cultures are superior to others. No apologies for that.

But never a racist. I don't believe any person is superior to another due solely to their skin color.

FOCO

I've actually met quite a few transplants from the South here. Northern CO seems to be growing pretty rapidly and you have a lot of outsiders. I haven't gotten that sentiment about people in the South here, but I intentionally avoid any conversation with the obvious libs (dyed hair is a dead give away)

I've talked to a few libs that seem more on the moderate side and are pretty pleasant but I'm not going to engage with someone that is a walking absurdity
