Just a personal story from an old theologian that I feel applies

If you are anti all things involving Christianity.... Stick around anyway.
In my life time, I have been many places and involved in many things, but one of the most interesting things I have ever been around was a theologian who talked about the USA and it's future as it pertained to the Bible.
He use to say to me all the time when I voiced concerns about the state of the union....
- it's in God's hand...
- and America will be here in the end.
To say that this man was wise is an understatement. Well versed. SO I asked.... "So the USA is mentioned in the Bible!?" I knew the answer and was being a smart mouth. His answer was "No... and you know that. But HISTORY IS!"
He went through a list of names of nations and states that are indeed in the Bible. Names like Tarshish. IT's young lions (offsprings ).
Offsprings= nations birthed from Tarshish and they are in an alliance.
In the end, according to him, Russia will lead an attack against Israel and Israel's allies will come to her defense.. the young lions.
And let me add that it's been interesting watching nations line up over the years.
Long story short... This too shall pass. This nation will make it through the pains tomorrow will bring and the next year.
In the end, may we become stronger!

It is. He's just an ultracrepidarian who thinks he's being philosophical and deep.

Can I give my two cents from my non- Christian perspective that aligns with your Christian perspective ?
I want everybody to not despair when it becomes obvious that the MSM / Dems/ Entertainment/ Tech are doing everything to bury it. What matters is The Truth. That’s it. Not what some completely corrupt liar thinks about the truth . The Truth has already won because it’s the truth. In the end, although we all weigh in, The Truth gets the loudest voice . Be secure in the knowledge that the truth is enough.
I want everybody to not despair when it becomes obvious that the MSM / Dems/ Entertainment/ Tech are doing everything to bury it. What matters is The Truth. That’s it. Not what some completely corrupt liar thinks about the truth . The Truth has already won because it’s the truth. In the end, although we all weigh in, The Truth gets the loudest voice . Be secure in the knowledge that the truth is enough.

Along the same lines, several cities in the old testament were so wicked and evil they were completely destroyed. Perspective when I can't comprehend how morally bankrupt our society has become. It's been this bad or worse at other points in history.

All praise Xenu!!! Lord emperor of our volcanoe hydryogen bombs. May he direct those who have seen, accepted, not to take the red or blue pill but the one of many colors to his glorious, infintismal cruise ship. (Small time fee of 50$ this lifetime and each subsequent lifetime). May he do this with such haste that can we all reach total enlightenment and go armed with terrific knowledge and lovingly hug our wasteful asses to fine velvet as we watch a terrific space odyssey unfold before us

Sure. And I had those conversations with him too. But that moves me from politics EXCEPT for the choices that the feds and courts have made.
As it was in the days of noah. It will be again. Anything goes because I deserve it....

I think your conclusion was arguably the strongest (maybe only) point that post made.
Things have changed and are going to continue to change. This is the strength of America - the beauty of checks and balances on governance unfolding before our eyes. I would greatly prefer ‘my’ side to be right but if they aren’t - good on the Republic.
The Strength of America is that no matter which ‘party’ is on the wrong side of this unfolding history the People will be stronger for it.
