I have stated repeatedly but I would not agree with the notion of administering puberty blocking medications or hormones at this point in the child’s life. End of story. Not remotely ambiguous.
I have also said that that should be a medical decision for the parents, not a matter for dictation by the state. You feel otherwise. That is fine. You are more authoritarian than I am. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

It’s almost like you think you’re gaining some sort of ground by repeating the same thing again, and again, and again, and again, and again.
The difference lies in actually looking at the facts and (in the case of gender reassignment) the theory.
There is no factual or theoretical benefit to strapping double D silicon onto an 11-year-old.
On the other hand, puberty blocking hormones have the potential of preventing a transgender male from physically developing into a big muscular individual who will look completely out of place as a woman upon reaching adulthood. yes, that point is still largely theoretical, because the science has not been around very long. We will never know the answer, unless a few people try it. Is it possible that the answers will not support the hypothesis? Of course.
AsI have said several dozen times, giving people the freedom to make their own decisions will sometimes result in bad decisions or ultimately in sub-optimal long-term outcomes. I can live with that.
Parents screw up their kids in thousands of ways every day. Another price of a certain amount of individual freedom.
