I wish Trump would have gotten his assets put of New York years ago. They've been after him for years.

WTF do you care so much about his assets?

Gotcha.

You are correct. Seth Abramson is a kook. It would be interesting to hear HIS argument as to how that article indicates that Trump endangered this woman's safety.

My best guess is that the argument would be incoherent.

I am trying to find another tweet that said Trump was staring at the potential jurors and making them feel uneasy... But it was either taken down or buried...

There was a lot of reporting on that earlier in the week.

Apparently, Trump was staring-down a potential juror and muttering something while she was under voir dire, and the judge told him to stop it and that the court was not going to tolerate "intimidation."

At the rate that both sides are burning through their peremptory strikes

If he wanted too, could the judge give each side 1 or 2 strikes back due to 2 of the jurors beinh dismissed after thr fact?

(My bad this response was supposed to go to the post before yours)

That sounds reasonable on its face, but NY law (section 270.25(b)(3)) sets the number of peremptory strikes available to the parties, and I've not seen anything giving the judge discretion to expand that number.

Remember, they did NOT expend any of their strikes on the two newly-dismissed jurors, so the response is that their dismissal had no real effect upon the exercise of the six strikes expended thus far per side.

She LOOKS very angry.

Is that pic from a page that contains her purported statement to the press? If so, can you link it? I tried to "open pic in new tab" to get the URL, but it will not open. Just keeps trying to download.

Thanks

It's pretty obvious that the venue of this trial needs to be moved to upstate New York.

Didn't Trump move for a transfer to Staten Island?

Dinesh D'Souza
@DineshDSouza
I can hardly believe this lunacy. A Trump supporter—probably the solitary Trump supporter—has a chance to serve on the jury but stands up and volunteers she is not impartial. She is promptly dismissed. The GOP is truly the STUPID PARTY

twitvid

I'll have to listen again but I didn't hear her say she's a Trump supporter.

It's a 5 minute vid.
