re: Juneteenth to become federal holiday

Mexicans don’t have Cinco de Mayo . There is no celebration in Mexico for this at all . That pretend holiday is a way for people in America to praise by gorging themselves on food and drink. July 4 was a date celebrating a war with independence being the outcome . If a federal holiday is needed for freedom of slavery that this country went to war over , amongst may other issues as well , then maybe the end of war which millions of whites died . Or how about picking a date that the Democrats hold special as to renounce them for their continuously pushing for slavery prior to war or the fact that they continue to push for laws that keep people poor and ignorant
