Money.
correct. So public sector unions should be outlawed because it's basically government bargaining with itself and there are zero market forces involved

I lived in Ohio, you morons sure love your unions even though they are a complete disaster for Ohio and a large majority of the people I knew up there spent half the time either laid off or not working due to strikes

Unlike private sector unions where both sides have 'skin in the game', both the employer (government) and public sector union are playing with other people's money.
exactly this. And giving unelected unions and government employees the right to basically dictate how government works is unconstitutional

Um, giving federal employees, many of whom work for the dept of defense, the power to strike and collectively bargain as a unit is not the wisest move.

Imagine going to war and then having to settle some union issue.

No can do. The union guys cannot strike at DOD installations, at least the ones I have been around.

To say they are always laid off or striking is an exaggeration.

Collective bargaining is legalized extortion.

We carried baseball bats in our trucks. Not to protect the union line. To destroy those preventing us from going to work.

No one should have the power to prevent a worker from CROSSING THE LINE.

Factory and mine owners massacred striking workers and their families in the past. Often with government support. So while I do support your right to defend yourself and denounce violence, labor has suffered far worse.

. I said half the time. I didn't know anybody in a union that was fully employed all year, it was just accepted as normal

Why attack the unions and not the shitty owners who massacred the workers before the unions even came into existence? Was it OK for them to kill innocent men, women, and children over a few dollars more?

That FSLMRS law needs to be recended by Congress.
It's 'rescinded', for future reference.

Funny how that changed when the workers came together. Is it because the unions asked nicely for the owners to play fair?

cant even acknowledge the issues with FedGov employee unions and the broader implications with that "negotiating" dynamic.
