Bernie had better amass as many delegates as possible during the actual voting process, because those Super Delegates are 100% Establishment insiders.

I wouldn't recommend anyone take a trip to Milwaukee the week of the Democrat Party convention this Summer. The Bernie Bro's could end up getting a little nasty.

just sayin'......

Not only cheat against us but against their own team. And they want us to trust them to run the country.

Of course they will.

Bloomberg is literally going to (legally) buy the superdelegates off, and the normal delegates after the first ballot.

Not true.

There are no superdelegates on the first ballot of the dem national convention.

If no one gets majority of first ballot delegates the superdelegates come back to burn down the place.

If he gets less than 50% of delegates on 1st ballot he will not be nominee. The SD kick in on second ballot. Unless they change their mind before the convention.

On the second ballot the supers count twice and the regulars count half. At that point they might as well give it to Bernie or else the party will implode.

Either scenario seems to work in Trump's favor. Either Bernie outright winning the nomination or the super delegates taking it away. There would be a full revolt among Bernie supporters.

This is starting to feel like the perfect storm for Trump.

How did Democrats screw this up so bad?

Hot take: in a double bait and switch, the Dems actually make sure that Bernie gets the nomination, then secretly works against him in the general. Deep down they know they don't have anyone ready to defeat Trump, and in an effort to keep the progressive Bernie supporters on the farm for future elections, they ensure that Bernie's nominated but in reality a sacrificial lamb. Don't really want him to win, but don't want to burn bridges with his bros either. Reason they don't want him to win is to avoid a sea change in the party that upsets their cushy status quo.

Lame duck Trump for another 4 years hampered by 2 or 3 more impeachments....that's how they will plan to offset his victory. Which he eats those for breakfast, so no problem.

Problem is, he affects down ticket races.

The other Democrats have to either support or oppose his positions.

Nope. Bernie vs. Trump in November is just fine with me.

Oh, and the other likely scenario? The Democrat Establishment screws Bernie and the Democrats leave Milwaukee in total disarray.

Either way, President Donald J. Trump rolls in November.

PS - Obtw, thanks for taking down your avatar. Man, I hated that thing!

That's true, hot take may be too hot to handle. There are indeed other considerations such as that.

I have no clue what's gonna happen, but I do believe we're in for some interesting twists and turns. And I also think the Dems could very easily just be winging it.
