Judge Martin: "Senate has authority to audit but must balance w constitutional rights of voters."
He added later: "I'm not persuaded that rights of voters in Maricopa County are being protected." Judge said that issue is central to case.

Since when do courts trump legislatures anyway, I thought we had separation of powers?

Isn't the audit to ensure integrity of vote? Is that not in line with Constitutional Rights of voters? What the frick is there to balance. One protects the other. They are in natural alignment.

Was that judge elected from the pool eligible from Clown World? Was he sworn in over a copy of 1984?

The judiciary has pretty much grabbed control of everything.

We know who controls the judiciary.

Here is the full quote - "The manner in which that audit is being conducted must be balanced against the constitutional rights of the voters in Maricopa County, including the rights to secrecy and and confidentiality of information,''

Okay, let's enumerate:

1. All citizens (not voters) have a right to vote within the law.

2. State Legislators have a constitutional right to enact rules and laws that protect that right and to insure that citizens have access to vote in accordance with the laws enacted by the state legislature.

3. If citizens' vote is diluted by the vote of "illusions", "ghosts", out-of-state non-citizens, in-state non-citizens, dogs, cats and goldfish , then the state legislators must insure that the laws protect the citizens (which they do) by ferreting out all votes cast by anyone or anything other than a citizen of the state, duly registered and legally of age to vote.

Did I miss anything?

He didn't say it would. He said he didn't see how it would "protect" voters.

The guy is a plant from Perkins Coie and he should be forced to recuse himself.

AZ legislature should inform the wayward judge he has no standing and to move aside.

Why not play their own game and bring in a lawyer he has worked with recently?
