$380/Barrel would make the Great Depression seem like the good ol’ days.

“Oil prices could shoot up astronomically if tensions caused by the Ukraine war persist, JP Morgan has warned. The bank's price prediction verges on the unseemly terrain but the analysts insist that if the West forces Russia into unrealistic output cuts, prices can rise as high as $380 per barrel.”

“JP Morgan says the "stratospheric" rise of oil price will happen in the wake of the US and European punishment for Russia over the Ukraine war.”

"The most obvious and likely risk with a price cap is that Russia might choose not to participate and instead retaliate by reducing exports ... It is likely that the government could retaliate by cutting output as a way to inflict pain on the West. The tightness of the global oil market is on Russia's side," the analysts wrote, according to Bloomberg.”

The United States, is not, and never has been, even remotely dependent on Russia for oil. Russia, historically, has accounted for less than 2% of US oil imports.

This administration is using the Russia/Ukraine war to brainwash the masses into thinking rising gas prices is due to it. Rising gas prices, in this country, has literally no bearing on anything Russia does, or doesn’t do.

But by God we wouldn't have let Putin get away with it! In that context our sacrifices seem petty.

That’s probably $16/gallon.

There would be riots.

Predictable reaction to the latest G7 circle jerk of bad ideas. These Marxist idiots think they are pulling the levers, but don’t have nearly the influence they think they do

It’s time to make the peace and quit acting like Ukraine and the West are winning this war. We are getting crushed, but Finland and Sweden are joining NATO (yea).

Wait until December when Putin turns off the gas and oil.

Probably closer to $20/gallon. It would take me around $300 to fill up.

Seriously, the Ukraine BS reminds me a lot of two years ago with Covid. It really isn't that hard to see.

Exactly who is going to riot when gas gets to $10/gal. The fat fricks who take up the handicap spots at all the stores? Obama's family members? The guilty whites, who pushed us to this point?

Man, we are fricked. Knuckle up, men.

The European leaders and neocons here would rather commit economic suicide than concede anything to Russia. It's bad when Kissinger is the voice of reason and telling these guys at Davos to find an off-ramp.
