Right so you think we should treat people differently because they share a skin tone with other people that commit crimes more frequently? Because that is what is happening. That is what a lot of people are using to justify this behavior.
Multiple people have attempted to explain it to you.
Unfortunately, no one can comprehend it for you.

because no one is perfect
Yet is amazing how many people want police to make split second, high stress decisions based on incomplete facts about the most dangerous creature on the planet. Humans.
I’ve met too many police to ever expect perfection.
I also know if I thought it was you or me going home, they can measure you for your coffin.
The FBI and DOJ were called in within three hours for the Floyd case. I wish more effort was spent on the children in Chicago than checking on a knot in Ala.

I saw another statistic a few years ago. The number one cause of death for a white male sixteen to twenty four is car accidents. Same age group for black males is other black males.
If you want to protest something, that is worth protesting. The difference in this number and those killed by cops without reason is mind boggling.

This shite needs to end now.

I'm sorry you accept prejudice and racism. That's on you I personally don't.
Prejudice is inherent to policing

I agree with all of your points except this one. You shouldn't just throw in the towel and say it's acceptable when it happens because no one is perfect.
I'm not
But bias and prejudice are natural. They cannot be suspended by anyone with anything close to perfection, much less by police officers where learned experience is a key tool in staying alive.
This "we just need unbiased/unprejudiced police" line is a way of discounting the very real world out there where certain types of people in certain types of areas are a more significant threat to the police officer.
Mindbreaker quite genuinely thinks that pulling over a blinged out vehicle in the Bluff should cause no more apprehension for police than pulling over a soccer mom's minivan in Buckhead. It's moronic.

For the life of me I cannot understand how/why she was fired.
It was an opinion piece. Did the paper not know that a conservative opinion might be published?
Don't her editors have some culpability here? Why are they escaping judgment?
Some enterprising attorney should offer to take this case pro bono.
