Well, the fortune 500 has been throwing social conservatism and nationalism under the bus for decades now. You reap what you sow.

Eh not really she just packages up her socialism in a much less crazy communist way. She’s just as dangerous to the American economic engine as Bernie is.

She is extraordinarily dangerous. Here’s just a couple things I’ve heard her propose

-wealth tax that will strip high net worth individuals of half their wealth in less than a generation
-social security cap increased materially and applied to investment income
-significant limitations on private equity and venture capital firms (which will have a crushing effect on public pension funds among other issues)
-day 1 fracking ban (don’t even need to discuss how crushing this would be)
-taxing income statement income versus tax return income (yes she has said this)
-tax surcharge on large corporations
-breaking up large corporations across a variety of sectors throwing these companies into uncertainty and chaos as try and figure out how to even do that
-supports seizing control of the economy through the green new deal
-Medicare for all
-etc, etc

There is no private sector under Warren

Referring to Pocahontas. Said he’s never heard his Wall Street friends say this about any candidate before. They say she’s crazy and will bankrupt the country while crashing investments in the private sector.

They are scared because for a change they will be the ones getting fricked instead of doing the fricking. Karma has to come around at some point.

So as long as a former banker is next to you in the bread line, you’ll be happy.

Cry me a river. Its shite like this that has allowed these people to continually steal for the last 30 years.

I'm not advocating for complete Wall Street destruction but I'm amazed how people consistency white knight for known thieves. Simply amazing.

She isn't too far off him - she just packages it better.

I think the American business community probably never really thought Bernie had any serious shot to win, either in 2016 or now. His support has a ceiling, and he's an easy mark for a conservative. That doesn't seem to be the case with Warren.

Of course, I think she'll tack back center if she were to get the nomination. I think she'd have one hell of a time winning some pretty key swing states with some of her proposals.

I hope there aren't enough idiots out there to vote for her if she becomes the Dem nominee.

There were enough idiots to vote for Obama twice.

Those idiots actually thought Obama's healthcare push was a good idea.

Lot of stupid people in this country.

But she is advocating that. That’s the issue with using policy to try and extract some type of revenge ploy. Sure you’ll take down those “evil bankers” and the rest of the economy right with it.

I hope you’re right, but all I see are signs of the candidates moving more and more left.

And I’m not sure someone like trump can actually articulate the danger in some of her proposals.

If she wins the nomination and the election looks close moving every penny out of the market pre election will be a wise choice for at least year 1 of her presidency for anyone with a 401k.

I think it's a fairly cynical move on Warren's part, but she is savvy enough to pull it off. She is trying to eat into Sanders' support base by packaging it better in a more electable form.

I think she will have issues with charisma and coming across as a know-it-all schoolteacher, but she is betting, in part, that she can motivate the base enough. She doesn't poll well with African-Americans, but she can win a lot of moderate-to-liberal older folks with, for instance, her plan to expand Social Security, nevermind the fiscal feasibility of it. She can win a lot of younger people with her higher education proposals. She'll win lower income voters with her healthcare, childhood education, and housing proposals. That's partly why her fracking proposal was so damn stupid - who exactly is she going to win with that in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and Colorado that Dems don't already have?

She is trusting that a lot of the American electorate won't necessarily understand the downstream effects of much of what she is proposing. Cynical, but it definitely can work. She dodged big-time the other night when asked about how she was actually going to pay for everything she is proposing; Bernie did not and, again, that's partly why he'll never get past being an interesting primary candidate.
