For the umpteen billionth time, masks don't protect against a virus. And, also for the umpteen billionth time, if people are so afraid of getting sick, THEY can take the stupid vaccine and wear the stupid masks. How can I endanger you, if you are doing all the things that supposedly protect you?
This is beyond old. And yes, JBE, rights ARE absolute. That's why they're called "rights" not privileges. You don't have the "right" to make up rules arbitrarily. Rights are rights. We haven't committed any crimes to lose those rights.

He's actually on firm ground as far as legal precedent and even as Madison and Hamilton would see things. B ut I think the founders would only look at that in individual cases. I think they working be horrified at the level of control the elites are affecting on society as a whole.Not that I agree with Edwards in this case. He effectively rules by decree with a legislative arm that is as feckless as it is useless
