So yesterday on my way home from work I listened to his show for the first time. He has a gentleman on who was promoting "black restaurant week" and his collaboration with local favorite Meghan Matt, AKA Helmet Head.
Is this what BR talk radio has become?

So how do you know that a restaurant is owned by a black person when you're just driving around looking for a place to eat? Unless he's suggesting that we stereotype all the Soul Food joints.

Nothing like celebrating unity, by singling out businesses based solely on the skin color of the owner...Progress!

Love it. Big fan of Jay. Good to support black businesses.

Helmet's white savior complex gets exponentially worse every day. She thinks if it wasn't for her, all black people in BR would be dead.

How do you know if a business is black?

I'll bet there are a number of black businesses you may well feel reluctant to walk into at certain times of day or night.
And it doesn't mean you're a racist,

Watch John Stossel's bit on "diversity" in Hollywood and how those who don't participate in Liberal Groupthink are blacklisted.

Racist. Why can't they be whitelisted?

Is it wrong to promote black entrepreneurship?
This is why it’s important, it’s one way to help poverty in communities without depending on the government you all hate.
A dollar circulates:
6 hours in the Black community
17 days in the White community
20 days in the Jewish community
30 days in the Asian community

How do you know if a business is black owned? Seriously, is there a sign out front?
And is it wrong? Nah. Is it racist? Probably. I mean, if you're going to walk out of a store, or only shop in a store based on the skin color of the business owner, then yeah...that sure as shite isn't not racist.

This should answer your question.

How do you know if a business is black owned? Do you ask to see the owner's picture? Do you ask the clerk the owner's skin color?

Sometimes, yes. Most of the time, it’s just well known through word-of-mouth.

Really? Word of mouth? I mean, i understand if you happen to go in a business, and just by shopping there, you meet the owner, and you find out his skin color. But what kind of person via "word of mouth" discusses skin color of the owners of various businesses?
If you run your life so concerned with skin color and the pigmentation of a business owner, then you really have some serious issues.

So, you have a list of black business owners? How much regressed racism is built up inside of you, that you keep tabs on the skin color of business owners?
Posted on 12/4/19 at 8:13 am to BugAC
No ones letting their concerns “run their life.” But if you know this business helps out a community you hold close to your heart, why wouldnt you help it out? Obviously shopping at a black business doesn’t matter for you, and that’s okay. Seems to me like you’re just looking for something to be outraged about like the snowflakes.
