The latest reason I’ve seen is that Maxwell was still speaking her conviction so it was ongoing. Which is likely flimsy but that’s the retroactive reason

I didn't move the goalposts. The guy I replied to did. Everyone on both sides of the aisle seemed fine with waiting for their release until the DoJ declared that there was nothing in the files. Half this board wanted to see the files until the president said they were fake news.
