I wasn't aware that CNN was having problems of that magnitude. If true, that's pretty incredible. Seems like their name brand is only keeping them afloat for so long, it even worked on me before your post.
Sounds like Jeff Zucker needs to go. America does not need a battle of two common denominators for liberals when Fox could use a liberal counterpart and I thought CNN was that.

It's all about the money. There's no chance Robert Ailes would hire a liberal without knowing he could control what they say.

Wow, yep, some heavy hitters right there.
As opposed to those fire-breathing liberals like Juan Williams, Alan Colmes an Kirsten Powers?

Now, you're just shitting on Carville. He's much smarter than that and wouldn't put himself in that position.

No, he's the real deal which is why applaud them, and it's why I was sad to see Pat Buchanan leave MSNBC.

I don't think you realize that Ailes controls every little aspect of Fox News. Literally every aspect.
I like Carville, but there is no doubt he sold out. It's just another Fox News ploy to push the "fair and balanced" angle.

I agree. I think Carville would force FOX to fire him, like others at MSNBC and FOX have done (eg. Marc Lamont Hill, Keith Olbermann, Pat Buchanan, etc.) before he would sell out. He won't be a part of FOX's Washington Generals.

What does this NPR piece have to do with Carville? I already know what Ailes is all about.

Or fox wants to improve the quality of the opposition and minority so they can be better with someone who keeps them on their heels and deliver a better product to whoever's watching?
This is one of the better decisions made by fox.
It's what I wish would happen for the TD Poliboard.

It has everything to do with Carville and anyone who works under the Fox News umbrella.

Instead, he went after his former long-time in-house rival at NBC, Phil Griffin, and the MSNBC audience, and lost much of his network's viewership.
Yes, but think about it, he (Zucker) wouldn't be able to stand his own programming unless it aligns with his views. Ideological > Logical.

I they had someone like Carville on board last year, perhaps he could have stopped them from drinking Karl Rove's koolaid which had them thinking Romney was going to win.
