The weapons systems are things we have skimped on since Clinton started skimping on them, saying we have a "peace dividend". We are giving Ukraine our old but still quite usable weapons and building better weapons for ourselves. So I think that is good unless you think our soldiers should be driving old tanks and our Air Force should be using old planes.
