Upon departing the Oval Office for Ohio, I’ve notified my staff to continue working on an Executive Order with respect to Payroll Tax Cut, Eviction Protections, Unemployment Extensions, and Student Loan Repayment Options.

so stoked for the student loan repayment options

with 0% interest on my loans, I've been paying my normal student loan payment and have been really killing the principal of the account.

Should have it payed off a year or so faster because of it, especially if they extend it for another year.

John Roberts said Trump is wrong about this and now EOs are the force of law.

He needs to get some marijuana as well. It’s a winner.

Now that he is president and has learned what really happens, he must have realized he was incorrect when saying that. Looks like he is using his pen and a phone. I'm sure you are supportive of this since you never thought it was wrong when Obama used it indiscriminately.

I am uncomfortable with it because as Obama learned, trying to build his legacy upon EO's, it is wiped away with a quickness. So to can the EO's Trump will be signing or has signed be wiped away in 4 years.

Same. They can keep the money printer rolling indefinitely if they extend the student loan interest another year. I have a good income but owe a couple hundred grand. It’s been amazing just attacking principle and will shave years off my debt

Apparently you haven't been paying attention. Trump tried to rescind Obama's DACA EO but SCOTUS said no.

The great thing about this EO is that the short term items cannot be rescinded due to the length of time that it would take to fight in court. By the time it worked itself through the judiciary the unemployment befits would be deployed. And if an injunction came down people would riot...so I don't think that would happen. And the payroll tax cuts and student loan benefits would be politically untenable to fight.

Layaway doesn't work.

Stacking payments on the backend only extends the pain.

National debt is approaching $27,000,000,000,000.

I want it to collapse. Don't care anymore. Maybe we can have a debt jubilee.
