Should the opinion of the Freedom Caucus not matter in our 'democracy'?

Sure, but they also only make up 42 of the soon to be 217 Republican members of the House. Their opinion matters but they are still the minority opinion in the their own party.

These guys aren’t giving up their congressional seats and all the perks that go with them because they’re pissed off.

"They" will always defend muh fight, no matter how ineffective and opposing their interests it ends up being.

right! So either: A)the Dems have something to blackmail them with or B) someone affiliated with the Dems is making them a very financially attractive offer

Yeah, because they totally couldn't get those perks plus more cash as lobbyist or anything.

Maybe one day there will be evidence of that payoff.

What's stopping House Republicans from forming a committee tomorrow to look into why their colleagues are resigning suddenly?

Well spending is up by half-a-trillion bucks MAGA and the Democrats (unamiously) killed Kevin McCarthy's deal and removed him. So... winning bigly I suppose?

So spending more, and losing the house before the election... I for one, am tired of all this winning.

The irony of a bunch of baws on here who cheered on Gaetz helping the Democrats' effort to oust KM, who are now pointing the fingers of treason at other GOPers who may be making moves that helps out the DEMs....
