You know, this guy just might be what this board needs to unify us again. We can all bond over our mutual disdain of him.

He’s the OweO of this board.

I do sense a tide turning in the Force. It’s encouraging to see some of you otherwise smart guys (finally) see Trump for who he is.

Like I said, I’ve been here with the fancy white wine and primo coke. Grab a coat, drop off your K-2 to the doorman, and come on in.

I've always seen Trump for who is is, he was just the best option at the time. Now we have a 4 year track record, overall positive but mixed IMO, and we have an alternative.

If Trump wins the primary he'll still be the best option, childish antics and all.

I gave him more than a fair shake. His incessant whining and finally his shift even further left to attack DeSantis over his policies being not mainstream enough while propping up Crist and Newsome in the process was it for me.

I’ll vote for him if he’s the nominee, but he won’t get any other support from me.

And as a Georgia voter (I assume by the GTech logo), your vote will matter.
(Fraud histrionics aside)

But I live in Louisiana so I can vote for the Easter Bunny and Trump will still win the state. So I can, and will, vote on principle. And his post-election shenanigans disqualified him for me. We’re going to look at that three-month period twenty years from now in absolute awe.

Nope, went out of state. With the exception of 4.5 years in Atlanta I'm 100% Florida cracker.

DeSantis ordered people from Louisiana and New York to quarantine for 2 weeks or he wouldn’t let them into Florida. If you tried to book a hotel, they would tell you to book for 2 weeks per the state mandate. Look, I don’t mind Ron to an extent, but this board loves to overlook this.

Did you support a China travel ban?

If so, what’s the difference? New York rats were jumping ship and Louisiana was a hot spot.

FTR, we have a place in Florida, we are here now. .

Very little. DeSantis wasn't the regional governor of the Southeast, he was Florida's governor. I thought it was a little gimmicky at the time but it's not some egregious abuse of power. If he was restricting folks within Florida from traveling from one county to another that would have been a much different matter.

What's the difference between letting Americans (some of who were conservatives fleeing blue shitholes) through state lines vs letting Chinese who USA was in economic war with and where virus originated.

Banning Chinese where virus originated is same as banning people crossing state lines?

Another one over here. frick, I feel like a Brilliant Mind posting in this thread.

That's some shitfrick retarded comparison.

Then your shite will matter.

I just can’t get over the autocratic tendencies (and machinations) once he lost.

I’m a big believer in the pendulum theory of government, but he threatened to upend the table it was sitting on.

I just can’t do that.

What does this even mean in real life? Leadership by political party swings left and right naturally and don’t frick with nature?

It means the world has moved “left” since the signing of the Magna Carta.

It will vacillate on a micro level, but the macro moves more towards inclusion.

For us, it really just relative. Our multiplying factor is the phone we’re typing on and the social media it enables.

You're going to drive yourself insane trying to figure out whose account I'm not because I never posted on here.

You need to let go.

To compare Ivey with DeSantis is delusional at best and you lose what credibility you have as a poster. Ivey shut down small businesses (it was on the AL gov't website the last I looked) and followed the guidance of the CDC lock step. The powerful state lobbyists AL Medical Assoc told her what to do. She never changed her policies until AFTER several other governors, not just in the South, but around the country, started ignoring the CDC and formed their own rules.

Either you don't know the truth and are spreading more misinformation, or are spreading DISinformation.
