A military would be unnecessary in the absense of government, or at least if the government was a minarchy. Our military currently exists to enrich the global elites, maintain trade as deemed necessary by the same global elites, and enforce a global world order again, deemed necessary by global elites. All of these issues would disappear.

Airlines would take over duties of the FAA and have a better incentive to keep flying safe.
