I think what he meant is blacks are more racist than whites. Of course not all of any race are all racist.

But in the main, he thinks blacks sticking together on issues because of their color is in part racist.

If 95 percent of white people would have voted against Obama, I am sure there would have been charges of racism made.

Imo, it's really a shame that America dwells so much on race and racism. Look, a thousand years from now a "journalist" will still be able to stick a microphone under the nose of THAT GUY (black, white, whatever), and get the same predictable and regrettable comments. That's sad that some focus on finding THAT GUY, because imo racism isn't nearly the problem it's made out to be. Imo, it's much more of an excuse than a problem.

I despise Obama, but I didn't vote against him twice because he was black. Hell, give me a competent, conservative man like Dr. Ben Carson, and ill be the first one in line to vote for that guy.

PS - I'm not saying that Carson himself is highly qualified to be President. We would have to find out.

what percent of white people voting against him would be your standard? I bet LA-born white males voted against Obama in close to that percentage.

in 2008, Obama got 14% of the white vote in LA.
LINK
eta: its 2008 #s because that data was not collected in 2012.
for a comparison, Obama won 93% of the black vote nationally vs Romney. He won 97% of the black vote in Maryland.

Obama has proven to be a joke.

It's the people who voted for him twice who have some explaining to do.

My standard is voting for people that are of the same ilk as my beliefs.

People in the south are consevrative so they vote that way.I don't believe blacks are liberal, they go to church and are against abortion and homosexual marriage but vote for Dems mainly because of RACE BAITING.

I could vote for anyone or any race that is for limited government and/or against abortion and a myriad of other things I don't believe in.

Of course you liberals are great people and conservatives are all racist, hence your illogical supposition.

I could ask if you lke being associated with the murder of babies, though not all dems agree with abortion.

So the fact that most black people support Obama vehemently (despite his harmful policies to black people) because he is the first black president...does not make them racists?

I am very anxious to hear your answer to this

File this in the "fwiw" department.

I recently attended the 90th birthday party of the grandfather of one of my closest friends. It was a pretty big bash, with probably close to 50 people in attendance. My friend is black and so is his grandfather. Both are also registered Democrats, again fwiw.

A lot of the children and grandchildren got up and talked about what a great man their grandfather/father is. Raised in poverty in Mississippi by his grandparents because his father ran out on the family, this man instilled in his children the importance of hard work and education. Not coincidentally, we met in the home of one of his sons, a PhD in business and professor of business administration at a local Cal State university.

After all the kids got up and talked, the grandfather rose to speak. He ripped into Obama, warning his grandchildren that Obama is leading the country down a path from which it will be difficult to recover. He spoke as a proud veteran of the US Army, a man who served his country with dignity, then was told to sit in the back of the bus when he got back home. But he said it did not make him bitter. He simply resolved to work even harder. And he once again told his children and grandchildren (many of whom are educators, and one is a published poet) of the importance of work and education.

Men like him and families like his are at the heart of what makes America great. I don't think he's a racist because he thinks Obama is destroying America.

Black people overwhelmingly vote for democrats because they know republicans favor economic policies that hurt working class families.

His policies aren't harmful to them, so your point is totally moot.

Maybe, you should, you know, actually click on the link in the OP before posting a response.

The man you are talking about didn't say he wouldn't vote for Obama because he was black as the guy in my link stated honestly.

HOLY shite!!

That's why all those black led cities / countries are so economically successful??

Look..I, of all people, HATE the "blacks ____" and "whites ___" bullshite. But, that is the most ridiculously simpleminded "blacks ____" statement I've seen in quite some time.
