It's apparent to me that the "Me too" campaign is an attempt to shift the focus

from the fact that a hardcore leftist (Harvey Weinstein) and a hardcore leftist industry (Hollywood) are at the forefront of workplace sexual abuse in America.

The Left CANNOT allow itself to be branded as sexual predators because their narrative is that this kind of abuse is the domain of the Right. Hence the "Me too" campaign. You didn't hear anyone saying "Me too" when Trump was caught on tape bragging about pussy grabbing. Then the focus was all on Trump, for what was essentially, until proven otherwise, locker room braggadocio.

But now the years of sexual abuse, including rape and multiple out-of-court settlements, of a hardcore Leftist and major donor to the Democrat Party comes to light and the focus is on the victims. "Me too".

Call me cynical.

Yep. Already seen them try and shift the campaign onto Trump's discredited accusers.

Until they start naming names, it just seems like attention seeking on the part of the hashtaggers. Ultimately each person's choice to discuss their situation publicly is their own. But if you're going to discuss it publicly, say who did it.

The gymnast is the only one I've seen name names so far.

Yep

MESSAGE: "It's not just a problem with Democrats. It's everywhere." even though most evidence points towards a serious systemic problem with democrats and Hollywood.

You can best bet that the media will make this a," powerful white men" issue and certainly not a," deviant leftists" problem.

Let's not get started on voting blocks and their stats regarding sex crimes...

That will be the next lie they try to push to go along with "cops only kill innocent blacks", despite whites doubling the total numbers of blacks killed.

This is going to be a major campaign.

Honestly both things that Trump says about how he can grab them by the pussy for being rich and Harvey Weinstein and all of his b******* should illuminate the fact that too many men with power abused it and try to take advantage of women. But never mind what I say just go back to trying to play political football with something that rich powerful men of either "side" do.

it doesn't really matter how it comes out, but it needs to come out and be exposed regardless of political affiliation or agenda.

if women are going to be equivalents in this country, more progressive action will take place. making people like you more and more uncomfortable.

Where did I say they should come out about it immediately? I actually said the exact opposite. When they talk about it publicly is their choice. But if they want anything done about it, and aren't just attention seeking, then it's going to take actual names.

before you actually use the rape kit, should you first ask the woman first if she really was raped?

after all, sooooo many women fake rapes and that should be the focus.

You were raped? Give me a name! Give me a mother fricking name!! No??? You see, you weren't actually raped.

When this 'me too' thing started I asked my wife if she had ever been sexually harassed. She said "Yes. And if you don't stop I'm gonna put salt peter in your food."

You're off the rails. It's clear you have no understanding of what I said and are only interested in extrapolating to illogical extremes. I'm not playing that game.
