I know some guys that could have resolved that for you for far less. Just sayin'

My guess is that you got flagged because of a massive one time spike in income and then the auditors just sat around jerking off instead of reading the return and supporting documentation.

No one can change the process even if they know what is being done is completely illegal.

People at LA Dept of Revenue knew that trying to bill people for cars being registered without insurance was a really fricking dumb idea yet went through it anyway. Then lost their arse in court because people cancelled their insurance the day a car was sold / totaled / whatever and Office of Motor Vehicles was taking like 45+ days after submission to process the paperwork for closing out the license plate.

I bet she was fun for a while though

“Slightly” promiscuous?

I assume it means she has one of those old “take a number” dispensers by her bed.

IRS execs:

Let's make a simple process excessively overcomplicated by a factor 1,000,000... and let's change the rules at least once, maybe twice per year! And, let's hire people from the bottom half of graduating classes and questionable employment history.

Just tax me when I buy shite. Rich people buy shite. Poor people buy shite. Companies buy shite. Visitors from other countries buy shite. It's absurd to track hundreds of millions of people and follow up on charitable donations and mileage deductions and if someone is claiming a new dependent. Don't complicate it with "poverty" rebates and other bullshiat. What's the freaking point?

If the IRS couldn’t obfuscate what people actually owe, people would get MUCH more upset at what they lost due to taxes.
