Do you not understand what coups are ? I am sure you do.

No one assumes that ISIS could defeat Iran or Pakistan. But any nation, especially in that unstable region, can be overthrown within if key military leaders are persuaded to change allegiance.

Reference Egypt.

Notice I said IF !!!! As a nation you have to plan for all possible contingencies. It is very possible the crazies could take over Pakistan, Iran may already be ran by crazies.

Point being that if these crazies get a nuke, Israel would be in immediate peril and they would hope to bomb the USA.

THAT WOULD BE THEIR GOAL.

We must plan for all possibilities and shouldn't dismiss them as JV.

So, should I looking to accept an apology from every Catholic in regards to the priests raping young boys?

Interesting how you pounced on that "Catholic" angle. A freudian slip....perhaps?

My original proposal involved Muslim communities in America, demanding their leaders (mullahs] issue a joint statement condemning genocide against Christians in the Middle East. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to whether that has happened (or not). Not an unreasonable request.....do you agree?

But let me address your ridiculous statement about the Catholic Church and the pedophile scandal. No less than three Popes [the last three in fact-including Francis] have issued "public" apologies to the victims, the Church, and all the world for the actions of pedophile priest. The Catholic Church has "defrocked" offending clergy, and paid out billions of dollars in retribution. Regarding action here in the United States, the Bishops [collectively] have implemented a thorough screening process for priest, as well as any Catholic laity involved in ministry which puts them in contact with children. This screening process includes background checks, mandatory attendance at diocesan policy sessions, and the signing of a formal "Pledge" vowing to protect the innocence of children.

Maybe you could inform me as to whether there is any effort in the Muslim Communities in America to screen their members to determine if anyone fully embraces "Jihad" as part of their fundamental Muslim beliefs?

I'm waiting......

Have a nice day!

I give up. It is apparent you don't have a clue about the militant Islamic movement.

Just laat month someone told me Turkey was different from the other Middle East countries.

This was in a debate on a religious board.

I had told them of Ezekiel's prophecy in which Turrkey, Iran, Russia and North Africa comes against Israel.

He stated they were different. Last month after hearing the Turkish presidents vile language toward Israe,l comparing them to Hitler, my friend stated scripture shouldn't be doubted.

The Pakistanis are crazies, the Irainians ate crazies

It's amazing to me that people can't realize that Muslims are trash no matter where they live. They are like swine!

sec, let me try to explain this to you slowly so you understand why ISIL taking over Iran is so ludicrous- the vast, vast, vast majority of Iran' citizenry is Shiites, ISIL is Sunni thus them taking over Iran in a coup is the equivalent of a protestant taking over the Vatican in a coup, its so outlandish that it makes no sense, Pakistan has a natural population base that has sympathy for the Taliban (not to mention the Taliban's ties to Pakistani intelligence) in Iran literally the entire population of a country much larger and more well organized than Iraq hates ISIL - - ISIL has a better chance of staging a coup and taking over Israel than they do of doing the same in Iran.

So you think ISIS has the ability to detonate a dirty bomb in the continental US? Seriously?

They don't have to, it is estimated they have a bank roll of 20 billion dollars, they can just funnel money to their members already in American to build IEDs that could be scattered around any place large groups of people gather. Remember Boston, 20 billion will build a lot of pressure cooker bombs.

NOONE WAS REFERRING TO ISIL TAKING OVER IRAN.

I of course am referring to their own crazy sect of Mad Isla
Islamists who listen to Khomeini.

If Iran gets a nuke even their crazy president might nuke Israel, hell they are providing Hamas the missiles that is being fired at Israel.

Egypt had the Muslim Btothethood, Afghanistan had the Taliban, etc etc, the name of the fanatic group within the certain sect is irrelevant.

I understood you thought I was speaking of Isil defeating Iran or Pakistani armies. But that wasn't my reference point.

If the crazies in any other country see an Islamic state?/ Ottoman type empire as a possibility they might overthrow their own government.

Pakistan is a very unstable state.
Iran might nuke Israel.

The fact is no one knows what these fanatical muslims will do next.

Never say never.

I agree. But regardless, if we're going to do this right, we need to hit these scumbags so hard and fast that there won't be anything left but a fine, pink mist. And then we need to go after the ones funding them.

But if this is a scheme to take out Assad, then we're doing nothing different than we did in Iraq and it will further destabilize the region and accomplish the goal of AQ, or IS, i.e. the same enemy with another name, the same ones who will benefit no less than they did when we ousted Saddam.

I've said it in another thread but again, Congress should issue Letters of Marque and support, say Exxon-Mobil, raising a private military and watch it go over there and plunder the place.

So, your answer to a created/trained/funded terrorist group is a another created/trained/funded terrorist group.

Sounds similar to those whose answer to overbearing government is more government.
