You were looking at the male configuration. As this particular jet was piloted by a female it is opposite.

I can almost guarantee an F-35 was NOT shot down. The only reason any of our stealth fighters have been downed was due to mission planning laziness.

When I zoom in on the picture I can see the wheels are really scuffed up. It might be legit.
