Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

You shouldn’t be killed arbitrarily
You shouldn’t be jailed arbitrarily
And you should be able to pursue happiness without unreasonable objections.

So the government cannot just kill you, lock you up, nor stop you from pursuing legal goals.

One would think it would start with the right to be born, but it seems to a certain people in this world, it isn't.

I recently read the book Evicted by Matthew Desmond. At the end of the book, the author argued that housing should be viewed as a human right

Funny, I read a book Sapiens by Yuval Harari in which he gives the history of our species/world and that there are no basic Human Rights

human rights are not tangible assets that must be confiscated by force from one group to transfer to another group.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind, and the winds are always changing direction. You’re never going to come to a consensus on any of this until you first agree to a moral standard to live life by.

Anything can be forced if you hide behind the guise of human right. Anything tangible is not a human right.

Constantly fixing broken shite. Constantly dealing with late rent. Constant excuses. Constant gaslighting. Loss of property value.

That’s what the landlords deal with.

The idea of rights has been conflated with entitlements. This is a strategy of socialists.

They are separate concepts, totally unrelated, and should be treated as such.
