We love our stupid analogies, don't we folks?
Morality is in the equation for virtually every law on the books.

That may have originally true but I'm pretty sure that upscale retail areas have codes which pretty much relegate PPs to the hood now
That wouldn't determine who frequents them.

I don't believe "secular" people have morals so probably isn't one

Sure, just not a very good one.

Sure, but morality isn't necessary to show why we shouldn't make rape, theft, and murder legal.
I think that was OP's point. Maybe not.

It causes population imbalances between the sexes.
See China.

Depends on the specific position. Absolutely against abortion no matter what? I don't think there is one. I sure haven't heard one.

I'm having a hard time conceiving of an argument against murder or rape that has zero moral component to it.

Would the same apply to someone being absolutely for it and would you see it as just as....ummmm...blind? (Assuming that you see pro life people as being "blind" to other strongly held opinions?*

Same argument could be used for terminating the life of elderly, except we'd save more money

Agreed.

If morality didn't exist would it not still be possible to argue against legalizing murder and rape?

If morality didn't exist would it have ever been illegal? If so, why?

Yes, but blind isn't the word I'd use.

Maybe, maybe not. I'd say eventually, yes.

Ethics, history, psychology, and a host of other reasons that aren't morality.

Ethics is intertwined with morality.
History, how do you know what it looks like sans morality?
Explain how psychology would have led to the outlaw of murder?

I mean, obviously, I don't use religion to justify my opposition to those things, yet, I still view my opposition to them as rooted in morality.

Hmm..........I'm not so sure.
Examples?

Most Secular people believe in the hippocratic oath, I would think do no harm would fall under anti abortion.

Seems rooted in morality to me.
I'm not saying that's bad.
I'm just having a hard time thinking of ANY arguments in favor of criminalizing a behavior that aren't rooted in morality.
They might get stated in an effort to conceal their moral base, but, a few "why" questions would inevitably lead to their moral base.
