yes but only after a few weeks, once they see all the polls going against them they will cave just like they did with the last shut down.
but it will be mid january before the dimwits realize trump is serious and they are fricked, then they will try to bargain a small concession first before finally passing the current bill

To Wildtchoupitoulas, Anyone supporting Nancy Pelosi has to be questioned for their sanity? Most of her own party sees this and she's an embarrassment to them! She's a senile witch that can barely formulate a complete sentence and when she does it rarely makes since. Do some research and you will see her hypocrisy is amazing and is downright laughable! On second thought, keep her around so we can continue to be entertained by her dim-witted comments/opinions!

They won't. Give them credit where it's due - they may be loony, but unlike the Republicans, they do stay in lockstep when it comes to party politics.

The Dems are actually trying to find the words to downplay the wisdom of keeping terrorists out of your backyard and not look like the disingenuous fools they are. Good luck with that. When it comes to protecting 300 million rear ends, there is no debate. And Trump knows this. Checkmate.

No. They know how the media will handle the shut down.
The networks will rush to find some national park attendant who is put on leave. The guy will have a wife with diabetes named Angel and a special needs 7 year old named Timmy.
Ranger Bob will explain to the female reporter that he's had some health issues himself that have depleted his savings. So, this Christmas there will be no presents for Angel and Timmy.
Then the reporter will cut away to a video of Trump and his wealthy family enjoying their luxurious surroundings during the holidays.
This is a very old formula. It always works because Americans are dumb and highly prone to class envy.
