You ever drive a van with Texas plates into Canada? Those folks were looking everywhere for the potential bullet even.

Your point? Sounds like Canada don’t play.

Container trains are xrayed at the Canadian border. I assume they have Xray machines on the southern border as well.

Need to take up Canada's sense of profiling and search anything that looks like it could hide a person.

Bro you don’t even know who or what those people really did. I would suggest you go and watch about 12 hours of WWII docs on Netflix and get back to me.

It all starts somewhere.

We were checked pretty thoroughly when heading north from McAllen a few years ago. Now, when compared to entering the AFB in Minot, ND, nope.

It is cute when these swamp dwellers offer advice on the border.

Upgrayyed spent time down there so he has some cred, but most of these threads are just carnival barking.

It goes much deeper. CHeck out this article On Allende, Mexico massacre. it is the story about the DEA trying to crack down on the cartels a few years ago.

The cartels have people in border patrol on the take and would call them when a drug shipment was coming through the Eagle pass entry point. They would turn off the X-ray and let the drug trucks through.

So, yes a wall is needed, yes more technology is needed, but oversight and control is needed as well.

No and here is why: my dad lived on the border for 2 years. Most areas the people there on both sides know each other well. Grow up their whole lives together like typical small town America.

One kid grows up to be in cartel. One who is his friend ends up a BP agent. BP agent gets offered 10k by cartel friend to let a certain truck pass unchecked. He takes it, because if he doesn’t the agent in the booth next to his will.

This is how my dad explained it works.

Doesn't offend me at all. But if you were trying to sound intelligent, it's best to leave the redneck out of your posts.
