Is anyone talking about why the hell our CIA chief was in Moscow yesterday?

I don’t see much chance that this was anything but a warning to Putin personally, who apparently he meet with for a brief time before then left.
He went unscheduled on a black C-130 like plane with no numbers etc and Putin cancelled a public event to meet. This was supposed to be completely private but of course it was leaked.
This is very concerning. Any ideas or anyone want to talk and ignore your NDA. (It WWW3 is starting kinda doesn’t matter anyway)
What did we just tell him they better not do? What’s the odds they will actually listen this time?

There have been rumors lately that Russia is preparing to really test the NATO alliance. Apparently the CIA did the same thing a few months before Russia officially invaded Ukraine in 2022. Could be our intelligence telling him we know everything, and you better not do anything. But who knows what’s really going on.

I’m much more concerned that high level and obviously sensitive meetings like this get leaked to the press.
International negotiations sometimes need to happen quickly and directly and in secret.
Of course, the purpose of the meeting can be for good or nefarious objectives, but there is a Schrodinger’s Cat element to it such that real time revelations will have unintended consequences.

Trump says it was not to issue a warning against them attacking Europe, nor was it anything to do with Iran.

Alternatively, maybe the point was people noticing and asking questions about it? There are certainly instances where things are "leaked" intentionally for one reason or another.
Trump supposedly playing it off is interesting. I really don't know what to make of it.

He did say that they obviously want the war to end, but he didn't give any details at all on what the meeting was actually about. Said it was "none of the above" when asked about the theories people are floating.
I think they're negotiating a prisoner swap and/or Edward Snowden extradition to the US.

Snowden was absolutely Brennan's boy injected into the NSA, charged with pulling the fangs from PRISM - their #1 tool to unmask the CIA's involvement in making Obama's Iran/Muslim Brotherhood backchannels.
Snowden was complicit as a foot soldier in the subversion of the United States by its own intelligence community.
In the event that Snowden flipped, I will gladly see him offered immunity if it means even more evidence to nail Brennan and his co-conspirators even harder.

Who is saying this was supposed to be secret?
If you want a quiet face-to-face, you fly in a Gulfstream V.
You don't take that airborne skyscraper into Moscow if you are trying to keep the visit under wraps.
This was a case of overt signaling that *something* was in motion. What, exactly?
