Religion is the last thing I think about when talking pilitics.

You think any of these people are actually religious? Who cares anyway?

If so, that's on your dumb arse. You looking for a messiah on capital hill?

That's actually funny and sad.

Not really.

There are like 10 "MAGA" reps in Congress.

What else does “go play in traffic. do us a favor” mean to you?

Do words mean nothing now?

I’d prefer to have our nation’s leaders actually believe in God and have some moral code to lean upon. A messiah? That is Jesus.

Trump is one of these people.

They definitely mean something, just not what you think in many cases. Which is an expected when your sole tactic is to immediately frame every single remark or action by both Trump and his supporters as nothing but evil, despicable, destructive, intending physical harm, lies, disingenuous and/or any other over the top adjective you can think of. When that’s your game plan at all times and no bother or effort or any care to consider context and possible other explanations than just the type described above, it should come as no surprise that you’re going to very often be wrong.

Why even is a figure of speech a figure of speech considered as such? What is the idea behind a figure of speech?

Why? You thought I was complementing Trump? I'm making fun of Trump thinking the concept of hulkamania is real, magadonian.

He really thinks he gets power from the crowd chanting his name like an old 1980s wrestling match.

I see.

Generally “go play in traffic” when I was a teen meant “frick off and die” especially if followed with “do us a favor”

I’m not trying to mischaracterize what he said. Just seemed like a very strong reaction to the thread.

Right. Because at the end of the day Trump is in a losing streak. But he has certainly impacted the electorate.
