Oxford University Press Dictionary.
Pragmatic: dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations.

It can't be in error dumbazz, the intent came from the framers, not you commie liberals.
A truth is that vs. the constitution all you liberals are AN ERROR.
Placed against the framers, Washington, Adams, Jefferson, etc. etc. all, you liberals are chicken shyt nobodies and they are world renown for the birth of democracy.
Now shove that up your liberal azz.

Hoo boy. You know the United States wasn't the first representative elective government, right?
That's not even to diminish the accomplishment of the Founders, who, it should go without saying, achieved the incredible in guiding America through the Revolution and its early days of existence.
But come on, man, we don't need falsehoods to prop them up. Let their achievements stand on their own without the hyperbole.

I'm embarrassed for you that you wrote this.
And I have no love for liberals.

Democracy is basic mob rule and leads to tyranny.
America was supposed to be a republic.
We're currently a communist country

Sure, if you have a truly well-informed populace. If gov't exerts complete influence over education and mass media however, they can sway minds of the populace. And government only ever "wants" one thing: more power.

I just want to point out the constitution can be amended and has been 27 times.

Reason #1 why I said the idea of constitutionally-limited elected government isn't pragmatic. It's arguable as to whether this populace ever existed and unarguable that it doesn't exist now and hasn't for years.
I don't think it's even government influence over education and mass media, although its domination of those components of the political infrastructure certainly doesn't help. I think it's a lot more fundamental - average Joe simply isn't going to be able to select for a good leader, because average Joe doesn't understand what it takes. That might sound a bit snobbish, but think about it: voter turnout in the US is lucky to float around the 50-55% range on a consistent basis these days. That means that merely the act of voting puts you in at least the 45th percentile and possibly within the top half of the country in political engagement, ignoring statistically-insignificant outliers who abstain from voting due to political principles instead of a lack of participation.
Combine that with government manipulation of education and mass media and there's no hope. Even going back to the limited government model of the Constitution, while definitely an improvement, is just attempting to buy time; in a few generations it'll be undone anyway.

Yes Mr. know it all, I know the Greeks and others tried representative government, but they didn't succeed for any number of reasons, making the USA the birth giver of democracy, and also the others who tried, never really had a democracy like the USA's, because the poor people were still seen as the lower class who must stay in their class of birth.
The Greeks were still under the old ways of conquering, the USA brought about the ideal of bringing all the peoples up through entrepreneurship whilst creating, in writing, God given rights to all.
The USA's approach was all men are created equal in Gods eyes.
And I hope on of you nitwit liberals ask how all men could be considered equal when the USA had slaves, so I can prove your ignorance.
So, who brought democracy to the world ? Think about it, did Greece deliver their Republic style government to the world ? DID THE IMPERILALISTIC ENGLISH ?
No, the ideals that all men were created equal, with God given, unalienable rights came forth from the framers of the constitution. I already knew this, been knowing it because I am not an America hater. Watch the movie America and maybe you will learn something.
Gotta love 20 something's who know nothing.
Read Alex de Tocqueville and learn the difference between America and all other forms of government before the USA.
Learn something other than the BS your teachers and professors crammed into your head.

I wrote it the very way I intended to, snarky, smart azz, and to the point.
The dumb liberal stated that the Constitution was FULL OF ERRORS.
I think the commie POS got what he deserved.
You don't think an idiot that would say the constitution is in error is a commie ? LOL.
And I meant it when I stated he could shove his America hating liberal philosophy up his azz.

Why do you always try and devalue higher education?
Is it b/c you don't have it?

The framers grabbed bits and pieces of many nations and writers of common law, of course this is what they grew up under discussed and debated, but they molded it in their own shape and placed God given, unalienable rights to all, so that all men had them, which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Vattel and his book: Law of Nations was a vital book the framers used. The Magna Carta was another.
Everyone knows the founders drew off of others ideas, and used the writing of others. But what is uniquely America, is that the framers gave all men equal rights in a bill of rights, even though they could not grant that right at the time of the documents signing by the signatories, they made way for the future granting of these rights to all in time.
Go listen to Bono and his reverence of the framers of the U.S. Constitution, he says all democracies flowed from these men, who put others before themselves. George Washington could have been King, but he freely laid down his power.
The framers also knew and took note of the way the English and Italian governments intruded in the religious affairs of men, and placed the government off limits to our religious freedoms.
Any person not understanding the brilliance of the framers of the U.S. Constitution are not bright people.

If you allow others to indoctrinate your mind then you are a fool. Do you really think the kids in college now are wise people ? I don't , it is pretty much a 24/7 debauchery outpost.
I mean, you have "educated" people advocating for the murder of 57 million babies. I don't call that wisdom, I call it barbarism.
True wisdom takes in all points of view, is a thought out and reasoned opinion.
Todays professors are nothing but Marxist, commie, indoctrinators.
Edit. My IQ is 179 and I could take anyone on this board in a game of chess.
Don't talk trash cause I got Facebook chess friends and you can become a casualty of my game, OR ANY OTHER BIG MOUTH.
