You missed the playground lesson.
They were different in that fighting for abolition would not lead to your own goverment putting you in jail. If someone whacks an abortion doctor they will be jailed at least. That's the true difference that sane people see.
But both were state sponsored killings.

I've already served my country, and my wife and I are adoption advocates and have volunteered our time for women's centers for those struggling with the pressure to abort their kids.
So, no....not seeing a difference at all, really.

Why would I be angry? Abortion is legal and I get to laugh at all the cowards here talk hard and compare it to slavery. Yet one of those caused men to go to war and the other is about 30 cowards chatting on a message board with too much fear in their bodies to do anything.

Yes... the ultimate fall back for the glaring cause and ultimate outcome of tge Civil War. It's amazing how that eend to slavery coincided with the end of the war haha.

Of course the right to own slaves was the primary impetus for the war, but that was not Lincoln's stated objective for engagement, nor was emancipation or equality for "negroes" his goal. You do know that, right?

You brought it up to begin with. Do I need to read it back to you? We all knew you were prior service. You mentioning it again brought no value. Personally I haven't mentioned my serivce once. Nobody gives a shite is why.
