Right, it's the West's fault that Russia invaded Ukraine.

Pretty much. Even people in the west admit it, and have done so for 8 years now

It’s a bit puzzling that the groomers just fall in line without blinking and have an issue with Putin and ingest the narrative from the MSM, as if they are legitimate in what they report. Just a blind robotic allegiance.

It is quite possible to not want to be involved in Ukraine AND not be a communist. I’m not sure why you have to be absolutely one way or the other. What benefit has the last 60 years of “peace keeping” brought to the US? Even the founding fathers understood the benefits of remaining neutral. Less debt. Lower taxes. Smaller government. Less corruption. Above all…….. the blood of those innocent civilians which was shed so we could have an empire. We’re a Republic. We should act like one.

quote:

"It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world": it was George Washington's Farewell Address to us. The inaugural pledge of Thomas Jefferson was no less clear: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations-entangling alliances with none.".

Even people in the West...sure, some people that are locked into an anti-western view regardless of facts.

It's more puzzling that supposed champions of freedom seem to have no issue with an unabashed dictator invading a neighboring nation for seeking voluntary membership to an organization which it sought as protection against what is exactly happening now.

Of all the things we do militarily, funding the war efforts of people fending off the invasion by another nation appears to be one of the things we do very well.

Except when the invasion is our own nation. You have a very generous spirit, carrying for the Ukrainians so deeply. You have ancestors from there? There has to be a connection outside the same folks that brought us 81million and two weeks to flatten the curve and Russian whores laughing while Trump pissed that place where Obama layed his nappy head. Robots everywhere

This is where I'm at. In fact, this conflict couldn't have gone any better in my eyes. Russia stubs their toe and show themselves to be the inept military paper tiger I've always thought them to be. At the same time, the corrupt cesspool of a Ukrainian government that our political elites have their hooks into gets flushed out. Win/win, as long as American boys don't get killed in the theater.

This whole thing is like Al Capone's gang fighting it out with Bugs Moran in Chicago. Not sure why I need to pick a side.

You don’t support the Bloods or Crips? I guess you’re just a bigot who doesn’t understand the sovereignty and brotherhood of a gang

If you think this is just democrats I feel sorry for you. There are many republicans as well leading the charge. People need to stop looking at it as democrats and republicans and start looking at it as elites vs everyone else.

Somehow against all odds the clumsy and fumbling Russian military is about to capture a city of 430,000 people

So the Russians are somehow the underdogs now?

Did anyone think the Ukrainian military was capable of fending off the Russians for this long back in February?

So the capture of Mariupol is a victory for the "military industrial complex" in this country?

Okay?

The Russians invaded with a smaller force than the Ukrainians had. The Russian force was perhaps 150k men, vs somewhere around 266k Ukrainians.
