And you can’t smell that at 30,000 feet. Up until three years ago I piloted my own plane and I never smelled anything from the ground. Even at 2,000 feet I don’t remember ever smelling chemical plants, sewage plants, nothing. And my plane did not have a pressurized cabin with filtered air.

Treat the sewage like most industrialized nations do before it is sent to rivers/oceans.
Granted, it's a huge infrastructure investment, but there is no other way to handle it at that scale.
