Most white people in Vermont have never sat down and had a meal with a black man.

They don’t interact with black folks but they sure as hell can be preachy to those of us from 50-50 or majority black southern towns

That says 23.82% of blacks are below the poverty line, not that they constitute 23.82% of those in poverty. Their poverty rate is about twice that of whites in VT.

They probably need to vote Democrat more, that always solves poverty problems.

White millionaires living in Vermont or Oregon have more in common with white millionaires in Switzerland than they do with a white blue collar plumber in Milwaukee, WI or a white truck driver from Scranton, PA.

Easy to be woke and for open borders when you see black people 2 times a week and every Hispanic person you see is working for 70% of the going rate and is super friendly.

Maybe states should start offering bus tickets to poor minorities to Burlington, then. Tell them to spread the wealth.

Well, in Mississippi, the GOP lead state govt just enjoyed the best high school test grades and highest graduation rates for blacks in the state's history.

That good enough for ya?

Bernie’s votes concern federal laws, not Vermont specific. The plight of the local people is determined by the state legislature.

Bernie sounds like a racist that's all talk and no action.
