I’ll say for a third time, are you ok with a 20% national sales tax?

Neal Bortz had it figured at 22% back 15 years ago.

Despite the fact that you say "7" - not "7 percent" is the right rate, lol.

You keep harping on this, if you can’t figure out that he meant 7% then I certainly don’t want you doing my taxes

Exactly, and in reality, as long as it’s below 25% it’s a win for the middle class, and I don’t think it would be anywhere near that high.

Maybe. Maybe not. You morons still can't answer basic questions.

Are housing costs taxed? College tuition? Details matter, and the national sales tax proponents are light on any details at all.

20% on retail sales would replace all income taxes in the US. That’s not including taxes on services which could potentially cut that rate in half

He specifically said it was NOT 7%. So we don't yet know WTF he meant.

I did answer that. Perhaps less insults and more reading comprehension. I posted the list of what is under the sales tax in TN as an example

The other two played the race card.

Are we repealing the income taxes as well, when that goes into effect?

Bezos loves you for that proposal, BTW.

I'm not an accountant and know very little about taxes past the basics, so this isn't a leading question. If a state like Florida can function well with sales taxes and no income tax, why is it impossible to scale up?

Because like Texas, their property taxes are ridiculously high.

I believe in order to vote, you should have to prove you pay Federal Income tax.

Are we in the same thread?

Well Bezos is an idiot since his effective tax rate is only 22% on an 81k income…

Good, stay away from Texas. We have enough idiots running over the border from California on top of dealing with folks from Mexico.

Stay away. It's no good in Texas for California transgender supporting cucks.

Yes, we are. People are proposing letting Bezos off the hook for his income taxes and trading it for 7 jugs of purple drank, apparently.

Since the dumb fricks can't elaborate their plan at all.

So now we are onto just arguing for arguing a sake. I’ve posted a rate and what would be taxed. Not sure what else you want from me at this point

Is that what you meant by 7? Maybe we're getting closer to doing some math, if, of course, you can tell me how many 7s are included in the final price of my purple drank you posted.

No, your dumb arse said 7 wasn't a rate. So we have no idea what you meant.

And you still can't tell me what goods and services specifically, are subject to the tax.

7 whats?

What goods and services? Is your new house subject to your 7 purple dranks?
