Basically, you are advocating that we make our decisions based on the worst case scenario and the worst case response instead of the likely scenario with a mitigation strategy. No hugely successful person has been so risk adverse.
In all likelihood, the Trump admin and our intelligence community evaluated the chance of that happening and factored it in.
I get that people are scarred from Iraq/Afghanistan, but these comparisons between Trump and Bush are ridiculous.
