Herein lies the debate. Unfortunately for only-Trumpers, you only need to have avoided a serious brain injury to remember how DT fought in 2020.
His entire term really. He appointed Bob Barr, Chris Wray, John Bolton, and others.

We could say “that won’t happen next time”. But who is going to appoint to those positions? Who knows? There is no plan. Just attack Desantis.

The primaries come first. The DeSantis distraction won't be remembered when the real race starts.

Ron needs to either say he’s running or he’s not.
Bear in mind, if he announces, Florida law requires he step down as Governor. Unless he confidently believes he wins the GOP nomination, he'd be a fool to announce for 2024.

I’m not a Ronbot. I’m in Trump’s camp for the time being. You need to develop the ability to analyze things and for God’s sake get outside of your fricking bubble. Trump is far from having this locked up.

You should know that national polls mean exactly jack shite for the primary. Here’s the current delegate count based on the 2020 distribution:

Don: 22 with NH
Ron: 294 with Ca & Fl

Or

Don: 144 with Fl & NH
Ron: 172 with Ca

Now tell me about the stupid fricking national polls or Twitter polls. Trump has a serious fight on his hands if Ron runs. All that matters are the states and once you get outside of the Southeast Trump is going to run into some problems.

Ron only got a few mentions.

Several here watched it and said he went on about DeSantis for 5 or more minutes to the sounds of crickets.

Sounds like Trump rally attendees don't dislike Ron.

I bet 90% would vote for Ron if he is the finalist.

The big question is, could Ron get Trump's endorsement?

Trump running third party is more likely.

I wouldn't be a fan of him going 3rd party against Ron or Vivek.

I wouldn't GAF if he did it against someone like Mittens.

It was just last week when I asked about the state polling. I received two responses. Both agreed that Trump is ahead in NH. One claimed Ron in Fl and the other had Trump ahead. California is solidly Ron’s. So that’s what I’m rolling with here.

For all of the talk around here about who is best and their electability it will not matter one bit if the party is fractured. The only way our side wins is if we come together and bring independents with us.

Why? He just won an election and has a job to do. Why does he have to say crickets at this point in time?

Trump is a loser. Why can't he just disappear already? He's finished, kaput. And Republicans would be best served nominating someone from the Kasich/ Hutchinson/ Haley wing of the party.
