Agree with OP. It really is so very simple.

Even though I think the cop should go to jail, you make a great point and I have you your 400th upvote.
Is anyone protesting because a truly inncoent black man, Dave Underwood, a federal security guard for the Department of Homeland Security, was shot to death while guarding a federal building during the riots in Oakland? The fact that this man was murdered shows how awful and damaging these "protests" have been. None of those "protesters" will have any outrage about a good man dying for no good reason and very little will be said on TV about his death.

It is frustrating that the best examples of institutional racism in policing almost always involve lifelong criminals. Stop living a criminal lifestyle and you won’t have the cops up your arse. You don’t want to have weekly run ins with cops. A lot of them are assholes because they deal with degenerate criminals for a living.

Cops want to play military with none of the accountability for their actions. They operate like a gang.
You are a fricking bigot.
Please let you need one and not have them answer some day.

You think Tim Scott and Neil DeGrasse Tyson were sagging their jeans in raggedy Escalades with curb feelers all those times they were pulled over?
Tim Scott's a Republican, by the way.

them how come we don't hear about educated and/or gainfully employed Black men without criminal records being killed by cops? Before anyone could answer I said it's because Black men who are about their business aren't being killed by the cops. This is one of my biggest gripes with Black folks. You spend too much time and energy on fools. After I read about how George Floyd broke into a woman's house. The woman was pregnant and he put a gun to the woman's stomach and robbed her. I stopped caring about the situation. I figure if that's what we know he did he likely did worse and wasn't caught. George Floyd created bad energy around himself.
And the more blacks support a troubled man they didn't know over this horrible situation that Floyd got himself into, the more it makes all blacks look like they can't think for themselves.
Dissociate from negative energy...
Riots = you must be like Floyd...
The only connection we have to Floyd is that he was human and sinful like all of us who need air to breathe.
Beyond that he got himself in trouble apparently early and often...a burden on society if we're honest

Surprised you have been able to find anything on Floyd's background; the "media" has done a real good job of hiding it.

Nah...pretty easy with a little intrigue.
"Former prisoner" came up very early...
That set off "oh, he's one of those men"
Then the drugs, porn...all kinds of stuff.. and he resisted arrest in the end
Like a broken record.
Why aren't more black people more vocal
"I don't know that fool, but the cop has a real problem on his hand"
And leave it at that...
