Meadows and Jordan send him a letter questioning Weissmann and Zahad meeting with Ohr before the FISA warrant was issued when he told them it was paid for by hils, Steele hated Trump, and the info was unverified. They are both now gone from the SC. For two years they have reeked havoc on the constitution, the only thing that changed, Barr became AG....and they are gone.

Rosenstein, having been unsuccessful in his coup attempt, is going to slither out the back door as mueller submits his report. Barr says not so fast.

Did Barr do this to insist he clean up the mess? Maybe he told him to stand by while Horowitz releases his report on the FISA investigation. Maybe he is trying to see if he rolls? Whatever the reason, its apparent the status quo of corruption is slowly being ackowledged....now we have to see if it will be addressed.

My fear is that people, the dozens who have retired or switched jobs will be able to get away with it. You should not attempt to bring down a lawfully elected president....and worse case scenario you make millions on book deals, speaking engagements, and are lauded a rebel and hero. If so, no one will ever try and change the swamp in DC, and thats the message, far greater than taking down Trump, that they are trying to send.

A few good men, Trump, Rogers, whats it gonna be Mr. Barr, ya with em or agin em?

On a side note, is it just me, or does Barr look, albeit slightly, like Curtis LeMay?....Im just sayin...

Barr is handling things, no matter how much melting our more mercurial Millennials might manage, around here.

This is an interesting perspective. He should do everything he can to uphold an unbiased department. But out of curiosity, what happens if he all of a sudden starts to pressure Trump? Would you support him then? Thought about this a lot...

With respect to what? Mueller?

There's nothing there. If Mueller had something, you'd have seen it before now. We're closing in on 2 years of only empty indictments of Russian trolls and process crimes that don't have anything to do with anything.

This was my original thought in yesterday’s news that RR wasn’t leaving. Barr is going to make RR testify in front of congress on the results of the report. Hang his weasel arse out to dry.

One can hope at least.

Chappy, I just think if Barr has to publicly address it, it will be "he is a Trump protector, blah, blah". However, if he makes Rosenstein step up, along with Horowitz report, we will then see all the facts come out.

And one thing Ive wondered throughout this. Does anyone think Mike Rogers just pulled back the curtain and showed Trump the Wizard of Oz....and then went off to work for an Israeli think tank never to be heard from again? I think he pulled enough metadata to bury the deep state, showed it to Trump and has been listening to the deep state throughout this cabal. Trump probably showed just enough to Barr and said, ya wanna fix this institution or you want me to find someone to burn it to the ground. Hell, just what we know, and Barr knows far more, if he shared a little with Rosenstein and asked if he wanted to play ball, it must have really really spooked Rosenstein. Made a few mentions of treason and sedition and Rosenstein is ready to compose a synphony (as Deshowitz says).

God I'd love to think this is all in the pipeline. I pray I'll live to see it come to fruition.

This. Horowitz is where you catch the bad actors if, indeed, they are running the Mueller show. I liken it to shoplifting. Until Mueller leaves the store with shite stuffed under his coat, Horowitz can't catch him actually trying to get away with anything.

I don't subscribe to the "Mueller is actually investigating HRC/DS" line of thinking. I think that Huber and other US Attys are looking into U1/HRC & DNC emails/other frickery, but to think that Mueller is doing so is a bridge too far for me.

He is just another deep state. He may put up a little show, but in the end, he will protect the establishment.

I think he is highly concerned with the integrity of the DOJ which has been highly compromised by this Russia investigation nonsense.

The ONLY way to regain the DOJ's integrity and trust among the American people is to completely clean house and indict the people who were involved in the Spygate plot

I highly agree with both statements. I just remember his testimony when he said "I dont need this job". And you could see he was very concerned the DOJ and FBI had strayed way way off the rails.

I see he and muller akin to a scene from Law and Order where the old AG has to charge a lifelong friend who is a judge. The judge says "Adam you dont get it, times change and you have to change with them". Adam says "the laws may change but the rules by which we enforce them dont".

Im rootin on America and Barr, put us back on the rails old man.
