Forget the guns. Where do these nuts get all of their ammo? Where I live it is easier to find a leprechaun riding a unicorn than it is a box of ammo on the shelves.

I had a chat with 3 of my guns that stay in the house and don’t get out as much as the others. Told them that because they are getting lazy that they are getting fat

Furthermore, your politics and ideals are not going to stop you when you have a psychotic or mental break. The right triggers can lead anyone down a psychotic episode. Some already had delusions of grandeur they act upon.

But gender disphoria should disqualify someone from firearms ownership if a diagnosis of anxiety does.

There are many common sense improvements that just don't appear to be what THEY are grasping at.
They should work on improving their psychological reporting system. Most of these people had a history of psychological problems.
Once diagnosed with a disqualifying condition, the PATIENT should be told and have to sign a document that they understand that they cannot have a firearm in their possession until they are cleared by a doctor.
If the background check that they run for a firearms purchase comes back with a history of psychological problems not cleared by a doctor - they shouldn't allow the sale of a firearm, the PATIENT should be re-evaluated maybe arrested and then evaluated.
Taking guns away from the rest of the citizens for gun safety is akin to taking away all automobiles for pedestrian safety.
In the end there will always be the one that pushes people in front of a moving train.
