I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt in the respect she’s likely not yet completely familiar with this country and its history and its laws……….

However, Representative Ilhan needs to be made aware free speech protections are to protect us from the government itself censoring, silencing, or enacting retributions us should we speak out against it (something Representative Ilhan’s own Democratic Party has had trouble remembering in this most recent decade.)

Other entities have every right to establish their own guidelines for their own employees and subsequently have every right to take what they deem appropriate measures (good or bad) in response to any public reaction generated due to something one of their employees has done or said.
