or her boss, anyone with some money and power made sexual advances on your wife ...

What would you do?

For me it's hard to imagine this sin isn't shouted from the hill tops...

Yet, we read this is wide spread, and woman are afraid to deal with it...

Seems the husbands would deal with it real fast...no way your wife doesn't tell you, so what is you next move? Or advice for your wife the next day at work?

Where are the significant others in all these sex scandals? You know they know, right? Surely they do

Use it as leverage to not pay taxes

Also, Washington, just like Hollywood and the rest of the world, is filled with women who will frick a powerful man if it will help their station in life. That's how women have worked since the beginning of time.

You understand that the social/political climate surrounding suxual assault is significantly different now than it has been literally at any point in the past, right?

You mean it used to be 10x worse?

I'd have her wait forty years then have her talk to Gloria Allred and a room full of reporters.

I’d rough up my knuckles and then show them to the alleged groper. Then leave a card with an early dinner invitation to Sonic at 3:50 with a presser to follow at 4:00.

If it's a Republican, I'm going straight to CNN.
Seriously though, going through law enforcement you may face nothing but roadblocks and cover ups. The press is probably your quickest path.

Things are a lot different when you rewind to 1977 and you're talking about a 14 year old. Completely incomparable to modern day and someone old enough to be married

No, you go straight to Keith Olbernman with this kind of bombshell material

When I started dating at 16 my mother's advice was to make certain every boy I went out with knew of my four large brothers. They did and I was treated at all times with respect and deference.

Fear often leads to chivalry and gentlemanly behavior.

Any man who gropes a woman has as little regard for her spouse as he does for her.

Yeah. Which is why we are hearing about 30-year-old assault incidents now.

Women used to be fired, ignored, or (worst of all) blamed after reporting assaults. Worse still, incidents of sexual assault by family members (see martial rape) used to be sanctioned by law in some states.

Yeah, because the pendulum has swung. No doubt some women have taken advantage of it but 1977 was not a good time to be a female victim of sexual assault

I also wonder what the wives of these men think about all of this?

Surely they know their husband are no saints...

Bill Clinton is a great example of "we'll stay together but you sleep somewhere else"

This is the only solution if you are dealing with someone with any stoke in their community/profession. You have to have hard evidence to go after someone (unless, of course, that person is a GOP Senate Candidate in Alabama)
