If you happen to be a naturalized citizen of the US, chime in and tell us your perspective

Calling all naturalized citizens on this forum! If you don't mind chiming in, I'd love to hear your perspective on what's going on in our country.
I've been a naturalized citizen for several decades and my heart is breaking over the hooliganism, disrespect, and destruction that people who have no right to be here are inflicting on our country.
I'm beyond relieved that we have a strong leader in the WH whose motto is 'America first.'
On behalf of my parents who waited in line for 10 years to obtain legal entry into the US, who had to pass the citizenship test IN ENGLISH, who underwent medical exams and who raised kids who've obtained post-graduate degrees, I say 'go kill yourselves' to all who have done nothing to legally and productively advance our society. Anger doesn't begin to describe how this American citizen feels.
P.S. And to my deranged stalking downvoter, you're just as bad as they are. Or perhaps you're one of them.

My wife (no pics) is 1st generation American from Mexican family. Her family was from Juarez.
She is thankful everyday that her mother did the right thing (think it took 10 years) and became an American citizen.
She is very proud of her culture and we are passing it down to our daughter (even teaching her Spanish). However, she loves this country and we fly the American flag at our house daily. She is a two time Trump voter and 100% supports removing illegal immigrants.
It baffles us that this is even controversial. When I travel overseas for work, I have to have documentation and papers and can't overstay.
I have visited a few times (we don't go anymore for safety reasons) but where her uncle is still at in Juarez. Most of these people protesting, wouldn't survive a day there.

My girlfriend is a naturalized citizen from El Salvador. She’s been in the US for 19 years.
She is highly embarrassed by the behavior shown in Los Angeles. She saw that picture of the guy waving the Mexican flag on top of the burning car and immediately said he should take his arse back to Mexico.
She’s a strong Trump supporter and her friends are pretty much split, some hate him, others love him. Not a lot in the middle. We recently moved in a house and she immediately wanted an American flag hanging out front. I kinda drug my feet on buying and mounting it but after many times asking, she drug me to Sam’s to buy it the week before Memorial Day.
She’s also proudly the mom of a sailor in the US Navy.
So, that’s my experience.
