If you ever doubted who is conducting the war in Ukraine.. John Kirby left no doubts.

I just watched Tucker play a CNN clip of NSC spokesman John Kirby taking a question on whether the Ukrainians would accept a cease fire offer from Putin if it were to be offered? Kirby quickly answered Ukraine would not accept a cease fire offer from Russia and the US certainly wouldn't accept a cease fire offer......hmmm, what if Ukraine did want a cease fire and maybe some diplomatic efforts to end the war, would John Kirby and the illegitimate regime still be calling the shots?

Then why is Kirby being so adamant the US would not accept a cease fire offer from Russia if it were offered today? Kirby should have said any cease fire or diplomatic efforts would be solely Ukraine's decision rather than Kirby adding the US would not accept a cease fire if offered today.

There is no need for a cease fire with a non US backed Ukraine. It would be a surrender.

Not unless Russia agrees to respect Ukrainian sovereignty as China suggests.
Then all sanctions can be lifted, Russia can go home and Putin can live with what he’s done.
