If Steve Bannon has any influence with Trump, America will completely decouple from China

Bannon is on Morning Futures and he believes we have to hold the D.C. Elites and their corporate partners accountable for this China mess. I and many Americans agree Mr. Bannon but how do we hold the SOBs who made a financial decision that their personal wealth is more important than America's hard earned top position on the Global totem pole? Steve is a smart political analyst and he's saying what many of us street level working stiffs have been saying for 20 years.
This China conundrum is the result of corporate and political greed/corruption and now we find ourselves exactly where many of us thought this BS would end.......Bannon says we need to decouple and take the hit. We all know the decoupling is going to throw the markets into extreme volatility and there will be an initial meltdown but Steve is probably correct on his call of taking the hit and dealing with the fallout. The option of continuing with the policies that brought our relationship with China to this point is foolish.

My relatives bitch about all of this, and then go buy cheap stuff at Walmart. Unless the American consumer drastically changes what they care about (price), it's not gonna happen.

The very first thing that should be done is NO MORE Chi-Com students in the US. Get them out now.

Heartless, but I agree with this 100%. We can’t have this when the nation doesn’t respect IP.

That's because shipping jobs overseas has caused wage stagnation where people are forced to buy cheaper goods.
It's a cycle.

Trump already revoke the visa of up to 5,000 Chinese students

This is where the anti-globalist Right forges a pro- job and supply- chain- national-defense alliance with the anti- globalist Left. The globalists will control ALL media channels and will shriek endlessly, but this will be the true movement of our era moving ahead. The fight against globalism- specifically CCP style globalism. Will be fun to witness.

Let’s do it after the election

The U.S. and China are entering into a cold war status. Keep a close eye on Taiwan. Hong Kong has fallen, the focus going forward will be on Taiwan.
Globalist greed has made China what it is (wealth, economically) and now we are going to pay an even greater price for it while the Globalists got filthy rich.I
Russia has established close ties with the Chinese in large part due to the fanatical policies from the politicians of the last 3-20 years (Obama coup in Ukraine, expansion of Nato, etc.) We had a chance to bring Russia closer to the west but many of the idiots in DC blew it. Old Cold War politicians and diplomats such as John McCain and M. Albright just couldn't let it go. They forgot that the Soviet Union fell in 1991. When the Soviet Union did fall, many from the west converged on it to make big money (often times through greed and corruption), just as they did recently in Ukraine. Instead of establishing a partnership with Russia, they wanted to go in and reap the benefits.
Jim Webb was saying years ago that we must shift our strategic policy from Europe to Asia. He was 100% right and he saw the coming importance of China. A large portion in DC stayed fixated on Russia. Maybe they were making too much money off of China at the time. Maybe when Putin came to power he killed their money making schemes that they enjoyed under Yeltsin.

Nearly all uber wealthy folks consider themselves citizens of the world....most have several bug out compounds scattered around the world. They create the mess and they scatter like roaches when it all falls apart, waiting in their secure compounds until they can reemerge and pickup the pieces.
