It's amazing how inept and terrible our government and representatives are. I honestly don't know if they could be any worse. Sad state of affairs. This Republic was a great thought, it just isn't any longer.

6th Amendment- right to a speedy and fair trial.
Capital protesters held without access to legal representation, or a trial date
8th Amendment - Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Capitol protesters held in solitary confinement for months without bail

- Being placed on a terrorist watch list is not a violation of the First Amendment. But it's really funny that you should whine about this now, when trump placed over a million of his critics on his own terrorism watch list, and when the trump Administration issued an order to spy on Americans without a warrant.
- Capitol rioters are not being held without access to legal representation. Lie much? And as for the lack of a trial date, that's a customary legal happenstance.
- Excessive bail? LOL. If anything, your capitol riot heroes are getting off easy, considering their armed treason.
- Every election law known to mankind was broken in 2020? Funny how your silly allegation failed in court, what, 60 consecutive times? Even in front of Republican and trump-appointed judges. And we're STILL waiting for any bit of evidence that there was widespread voting fraud or stolen elections.

How many people died in those riots?
I agree they looked worse, but six people died on January 6th and five police officers defending the Capitol on that day have since committed suicide. Furthermore, last year's riots weren't treason, now were they?
But how is your contention in any way relevant to the opening post?
